Our residency program is designed to help thinkers and makers succeed with creative projects that give back to their community. Be it a neighborhood, a city, or a community of practice.
Every quarter, one person is awarded a free, full-time membership for three months. Makers-in-Residence can take advantage of both the physical space and the communal resources at hand. In exchange, they work on a project of their choosing, interacting with our members and documenting their progress along the way.
Sponsorship opportunity for the residency program is available. Please contact us for details.
Selections will be made on the following criteria:
We like ambition, but want you to have something complete at the end of the residency. If you want to bite off something big, tell us how you will make it happen in the time available.
The best residency projects have clear goals and a sense of what will be produced. The creative process is open-ended, but help us understand how you will focus your efforts.
The most successful applications include some public benefit. How will your project be useful, meaningful, or special to others?
