Boundaries are a courtesy we extend each other. Whoa. It’s true. We are animals after all and nearly everything comes down to one word, safety. We need boundaries to make us feel safe and we test boundaries to determine who and what is safe. The great wild is no different than your small business. Rules and appropriate boundaries are essential to gaining client and employee trust. Sometimes no is better than yes.
This class will examine the psychology behind boundaries. Why they are difficult to set and why they are tested so exhaustingly. We will apply this theory and science to your business. Participants will learn:
- How to better interact with difficult and challenging clients and employees.
- How to create language in printed materials and business communications to promote trust and clear boundaries.
- When to bend, when to break and when to move on.
