Collage Workshop

After the workday grind, escape to the collage fields — a place where scissors graze on wild, weird, and obscure detritus from years past. Exercise your unmistakable point-of-view using the carefully gathered stash of magazines, books, postcards, and clippings during an evening guided by your paper-loving host, April V. Walters.

Each monthly workshop features its own overarching motif, which informs image selection and unique prompts for each participant. Be prepared to have fun, make some magic, and let your right-brain loose. This workshop is ideal for both green and semi-experienced crafters alike.

Instructor:

April V. Walters is a self-taught maker (except when she’s not). In the evenings, she paints, writes, and cooks herself happy. Her earliest collages are guaranteed embarrassing — a surf-themed notebook collection co-created with jr. high best friends. A paper-crafter since 1995, April is the blogger behind The Hipster Home.
