Meighan O’Toole loves the Internet. After purchasing her first Apple Macbook laptop in 2005, she immediately saw the connections and promise the Internet could create in a click of a mouse. Through her personal art blog, “My Love for You,” she surrounded herself with amazing artists from all over the world. By producing podcasts, studio visits, and Q&A’s for ML4U, she experienced the possibilities of online communities and saw the magic of the Internet first hand. It inspired her to do more.
After managing and running her blog for 4 years, Meighan has gone on to work as a Digital Strategist and Community Manager with Yahoo!, Wikia, and most recently Wired.
Meighan’s a people-connector, an information conduit, and a community creator. Her specialties lay in helping small businesses, websites and creative individuals define their voice and create community online in their own terms.
